What we collect

NewsFavored doesn't require an account to read the site. If you email us through the contact page, we keep that email only to reply to you.

When you load a page, our server records basic visit information: the page you opened, the referring website, your browser and device type, and your IP address. We look up an approximate location (city and country) for that IP address using the third-party service ip-api.com, and send a summary of the visit to the site owner through a private Telegram notification. We use this only to understand which stories people read and where our readers come from. We don't sell it or use it to build profiles of individual readers.

Cookies and advertising

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or generally at www.aboutads.info.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on someone's past visits to this website or other websites.

Analytics

We may use standard web analytics tools to understand how many people visit and which stories get read. This data is aggregated and isn't used to identify individual visitors.

Children's privacy

NewsFavored isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
